What Makes Coral So Special?

       In the beginning of time the origin of all living things began in the ocean. One of the most primitive organisms is coral. Coral reefs are formed over thousands of years with thousands of different coral species.

       Some reefs build up into Islands like Okinawa. The coral is altered by millions of living organisms to contain all the mineral nutrients of the sea as well as its original nutrients of life.

       These nutrients have been consumed by many cultures for centuries to promote health and well being. Coral's main ingredient is made up of calcium and magnesium; However, this amazing substance contains over 70 Trace Minerals which are essential to every living organism on the planet!

       Trace minerals were once rich in our soils... but since the industrial revolution, new farming techniques yield massive crops with little or no crop rotation.

       While the farmers do add some nutrients back into the soil, they discovered that they only needed a handful of minerals to allow the crops to grow normally. While each crop is capably of pulling over 60 nutrients and trace minerals out of the soil.

       This 'over farming' quickly began the downfall of our food supply leaving our food virtually empty of most of it's nutritional value.

       Add to this the time it takes from the harvesting of these crops, to the time it takes to arrive at your store, to the amount of time they sit in your refrigerator, then finally cooked on your stove... What About Harming The Coral Reefs?

       TherAcor™ uses only above sea coral, that is, coral that has risen above sea thousands of years ago and has become petrified. This source has it's purity intact long before the industrial revolution and modern day pollutants.

       It also does not harm the living coral reefs in any way. Although marine (or below sea) harvesting is also observed and regulated by the Japanese Government for quality control and protection of the living coral reefs.

"In a study conducted by Tokyo University of Agriculture,
the absorption of coral calcium was tested. 12 healthy
individuals were fed coral calcium added crackers
(calcium 525mg) and calcium carbonate added crackers.
The 2 types of crackers were ingested on 2 time periods
with a 3 day rest in between. The research found coral
calcium to have significantly higher absorption as
expected. The magnesium content of coral calcium crackers
were 252mg compared to only 42mg of the calcium carbonated
crackers

4 kinds of calcium were studied:
